Our approach

A more thoughtful way to find relevant work

Latmay is designed to help people find jobs that closely match their background, skills, and experience without manually searching through large numbers of postings. The goal is for a user to provide their resume and receive a ranked list of jobs that are strong overall matches for their qualifications and unique skill set. Rather than relying only on simple keyword matching, Latmay attempts to identify jobs whose responsibilities, requirements, and technical content align well with the user's experience.

What this site does

The user pastes their resume as plain text, and the system compares it against a continuously updated collection of job postings. The platform analyzes words, phrases, and larger pieces of text to estimate how well each job matches the resume. The final output is a ranked list of jobs that the system predicts are the closest overall fits.

Current status

Latmay is still an active and evolving project. The ranking methods, filtering systems, data collection pipeline, and user interface are all continuing to be refined and expanded over time.

Current work includes improving ranking quality, adding better filtering and analytics tools, expanding job coverage, and making the overall search experience faster and more informative.

Open by design

Latmay is meant to be a free, open tool for job seekers, not a walled garden. Both the application code and the list of company career pages used to find jobs are published publicly, so anyone can see exactly how matching works, run their own copy, or contribute improvements.
